It gets the ratings it deserves and its closer to single digits. With the new crop of nuters in the democrat party, that campaigned one way, and have outed themselves to govern in another way, low single digits should be within reach.

Sounds like a perfect match for Trump.

The impacts of a long shutdown will hopefully scare enough Republicans in the senate into voting for a veto override. The longer the shutdown goes the worse things are going to be for the GOP next year.

The old tortoise said he won't even consider voting on a bill in the senate unless Trump agrees to it first.

I guess a tortoise is incapable of understanding the concept of Checks & Balances.

The Democrats have offered funding for more border security, just no funds for the wall.

Not sure why everyone seems to forget that Congressional Dems have the power to end the shutdown as much as the president does......

IF McConnell stands up to DJT.. That means his wife will lose her job as she was appointed by DJT to some position????
Turtle-Man has been bought and paid for by hiring her

However, HIS Senate has a huge challenge with over 20 Senators (GOP) up for re-election versus half that with Dem's in next cycle!

He already knows he has a limited timeline to hold the line.. With 3 already Senators (GOP) expressing decent .. It won't take long for him to eventually succumb to the pressures.. IMO anyway!

He is complicit in any damages caused by such a prolonged "Shutdown" IMO!

Not true. Those of us with enough integrity and intellect, see what an excellent job President Trump is doing, and that he is doing so under the most trying of conditions.
