you have to go after sanctuary cities and do not give them any public services and that includes education and medical services.
LOL - What about the "sanctuary employers"?
If people have no hope of getting a job once they come here illegally, they won't come. They know they can get jobs, so they come. Go after the employers first, and they won't come.

Honestly, if we instituted criminal charges and HEFTY fines, we could use those fines down on the border and get a double good deal. Stopping it within and stopping it at the border also. Self-funded. Fines large enough, it will stop pretty quickly.
At the end of the day its his company he should be held accountable what goes on at his company. The buck stops with Dotard.
Are you kidding? In 50+ years of his business, the buck has never ever stopped with Trump. The credit is taken by Trump, but the buck stops with someone - anyone - else.

The border doesn't matter.
It's already been proven that we had millions leave during the Great Recession...when job prospects were not good. Spending money to chase or "wall" people is ridiculously inefficient. The best deals are:
1. Comprehensive immigration reform - to give business the workers they need both seasonally and year-round....including paths to citizenship.
2. Improvement of the legal systems - speed them up - would be part of #1.
3. MAKE EMPLOYERS RESPONSIBLE.
I promise you.....#3 will not happen. It's fairly simple to understand this because the USA is corporate owned and corporate run. Profits are above People....and illegal labor makes greater profits for those (largely Republican) industries like Development, Agriculture, Meat-Packing and hospitality.
When you see the decades going by and nothing happening....it should give us a hint as to what is what.
The very idea that anyone supported Trump because they thought he was going to keep "bad people" out is ridiculous. He's the Crook in Chief.
Why doesn't he ask for Texas and Florida to pass e-verify and then he would reopen the Government? It would be so simply and instantly do vastly more than any long-term fencing construction projects....
The only way to slow illegal immigration is to prevent anyone who enters the country illegally from working. And the best way to do that is to go after the people who employ them.
Bingo!

Why is it that EVERY TIME we mention that you have to go after employers, you right wingers scoff and change the subject to something else! You conservatives absolutely hate the idea of doing anything to the rich or powerful. You’re lackeys.

Start at the root. Trump himself is setting the example...and so are the Red States of Texas and Florida.
We "liberals" will start believing you are serious when those three entities do the basics. Until then it's all BS. All of it. If Trump didn't hire those thousands they wouldn't need medical care.
Notice how they act anytime the topic of punishing employers comes up.
What allegations has Trump made that you are talking about? I thought so.
Why do you believe the NYT without thought or question. They make this allegation without one shred of proof.
NYT tells NPCs to be mad, so they are mad. Come here and demonstrate in in this topic. 77 posts of "Orange Man Bad".
Nothing more than that.
The New York Times quoted a Trump employee and her attorney who stated that she was an illegal and that Trump's company provided her with falsified documents. She also stated that Trump's company falsified documents by excising the names of illegal immigrant employees from documents submitted to the Secret Service. Her account is evidence that it happened - its not as if the NYT is fabricating a story out of thin air.
Plus, there are about 2 dozen other sources reporting this. I'm not sure why you think it's fake news other than the fact that you don't like hearing it.
Another Anonymous Sources story from the NY Times about Trump.
from the OP link:
Emma Torres, an undocumented immigrant from Ecuador, said she told human resources at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., that she did not have legal status. She said that she was told: “It’s O.K. No problem.”
