Rather unexpected this late in the cycle. Nice! The Obama economy left America overwhelmed with debt, and underwhelmed with economic progress. Or any progress really. Nice to see the country starting to move forward again! A nice big wall and some fat pay raises to go around, what's not to love? But liberals will always find something to whine about... It must suck to be allergic to prosperity!

So free trade (TPP) like Hillary wanted and lots of new immigrants to drive down wages?

More likely the hiring and increased wages we're seeing is the predictable and prudent response by employers to hire Americans at whatever pay rate they are demanding while they can because Trump is standing his ground on the wall and border security.
