Let her? She seems like a pretty strong-willed old bird to me, and I'm quite sure if she wanted to retire, she would do it. I'm a bit in awe of her, and hope I am that fierce and determined when I am her age.
No one can argue with that.
Now, we all heard the reports from a week ago, but has anyone heard anything more recent in her recovery?
All I have to go by are week old articles. I asked for any updates..... I'm a bad orange man.
Then the status remains the same. She is getting better. Most of the articles are 5 days -- you can find some as early as three days old. Not sure -- are you needing daily updates. How caring of you to want daily updates.
She's taken two weeks off to recuperate, but there is no further sign of any cancer. She should be back hearing oral arguments nnext week, and she has said shen plans to serve until she's 90.
".... no further sign of any cancer."
The problem there is that those pesky cancer cells are rarely completely eradicated unless there are very clear demarcations of the tumor, which is not often the case.

No news is good news.
Apparently not everyone believes that. Here's the unspoken subtext of this thread.
I’m not saying I wish her ill, but that’s one obituary I will take great delight in reading when it comes.
I think right now she’s being frozen in Carbonite and that stuff takes awhile to harden.
Hilarious. So you are wishing she would die? Do you even read your responses before posting?
