I think he's semi-competent in some areas - far less than he thinks of himself - and an absolute turd of a human being on a personal level. I think he has no moral compass or loyalty to any American principle and is steered primarily by his immediate gratification.

I think on some level he knows it part shtick to some degree. I've heard that he can actually be very charming, but whatever.

I don't care for his bragging style, his "I" infused speech, but again, at the end of the day I don't have to deal with him.

I couldn't vote for him or Canklels and she took all 55 Ca EC votes anyway so my no vote wouldn't have a difference.

have you heard from the people in New York that have known him for years? He is not well liked there. As far as left wing propaganda, all I pay attention to is his public comments and tweets, they paint an accurate picture of this creep.

Love Loathe or Lump him Trump was the best of the choices we had in 2016 so there you go.

I think he is competent enough and does have the best interest of the country at heart, after all he is a people person, a father, grandfather and despite what the Left tells us why would he want to destroy it and leave an America in decline for his family?

I could see myself playing a round of golf with Trump but hanging out having a beer? I will save that to have with Elizabeth Warren. LOL!

He has left an ample public record of self-pronouncements upon which to judge him. I may or may not agree with any given media outlet’s opinion of Trump. But Trump’s been telling me who he is for decades, and guess what - I agree with him.

MAGA
There's a grain of truth to this, but a lot of it has also been put through a horse.

Trump is an egocentric with an abrasive personality; hard to like, and he appeals to economic naivete' (which is not the same as outright ignorance or hstility) almost as much as his opposition.

But he is by no means in sync with the radical-chic collection of overgrown children, totally-amoral manipulators and assorted misfits who have turned the Democratic Party into an advocacy for patronizing, stagnant European-style socialism -- (Marxism lite).

Somewhere in all this mess is a new, center-right-and-proud-of-it American consensus -- struggling to get out. Trump may one day be recognized as a sort of "Devil's advocate"; a fluxing agent who drew fire from the real threat of the Radical Left to reveal them for what they are, and keep them on the outside looking in.

If so, responsible conservatives, libertarians, and moderates owe him our thanks, but he is no more representative of true, enlightened conservatism than the Bible-thumping stereotype peddled by the SJW crazies to their Snowflake clientele.

I dont care for him as a person and dont think he has good leadership skills. But he supports policies I agree with unlike Democrats which I disagree with. Its really that simple; it's about policies not the person.

That's pretty much what a few of my friends are saying, they don't care about him personally, I've asked them how the hell you can like the guy but they said it was just he was doing things that they liked.

So, I guess that's how so many people were able to get past some of his personality flaws/traits.

He is a terrible, ego driven person. I compare him to GWB. Even though I didn't agree with his policies, I feel compared to Individual 1 he tried and listened to Americans. I feel like Bush was following advisement to the best of his ability from military leaders and other politicians which lead him in the wrong direction.

Individual 1 doesn't care about what any American except his base, military leader politician etc think. He scams college students, immigrants, and charities. He is a bad person politically, business-wise and amoral. I won't have sympathy for GWB if it wasn't for Individual 1. Individual 1 makes every president look compassionate and competent.

No matter how many times these questions are asked...and how skewed or leading the polls are - the results seem to reflect the national ones...that is, the most unpopular POTUS in history (recorded) and also the most disliked on a person level.

Trump wins again!

I have to wonder - are those who "like" him just reaching for proof of their confirmation bias? Do Authoritarians turn against other Authoritarians when it's no longer popular to be Authoritarian?

These questions will be answered by events and polls (real ones) over the next year or two. So far, it seems many of the "didn't care" or "undecided" about approve/disapprove are joining the ranks of the disapprove. That is, his approval rating hasn't changed much but the spread has.
