Can you comprehend what would happen if all TSP, controllers, aviation safety inspectors, food safety inspectors, and hundreds of other positions just all QUIT?

I respect Employment At Will. I respect the right of a potential POTUS veto, a Senate rejection of a House Bill, a House rejection of a Senate bill.
If I were as hung up on it as you, I would want a House CR with substantial wall funding in it, but less than 5 billion. A compromise around the middle would likely be acceptable to all.
While his numbers are off as per Fox, we do need to do something about securing our border. Even the dems in the past wanted to secure the border.

The more the left complains and throws fits about the wall, the more I know it's the exact right thing to do. The left used to be for border security - so they definitely have an agenda by not having a wall. The left is losing so badly that they no longer hide the fact that they do not give one flying pig's behind about this country.
(Disclaimer: I realize it is not all on the left who are against this wall. When I say "the left", what I really mean is "the socialist pukes who are trying to ruin this country".)
Good lord where did it come from that the “left” doesn’t want border security?? That’s never been said. What’s being sad is spending $5 billion on a wall that will spend decades to build makes no sense. Most illegals are here from over staying their visas, not crossing the border.

I did like how P&S emphasized the need to separate the shutdown from the border security discussion. I wish they’d have included more data about how drugs are really coming into the country. I’d have preferred more numbers/data.
I think Pelosi should have stayed away from the 'wall isn't who we are' comment, but I thought Schumer's 'Statue of Liberty not a wall' point may have been a good move.

Days after this started, both sides said another deal can be reached. Its most likely gonna take 2-3 bill for more barriers, fencing, walls, whatever.
Until then, I am content with the shutdown continuing.
