By the way, I wonder if their speech was pre-recorded because it didn't address anything Trump said, just the usual talking points.

It's not a win until the funds he seek is secured, and the wall construction is underway. And Mexico is not paying, so how is that a win. I guess he was lying over and over about who was going to be paying for it. His own words.
When he said "common sense" it reminded me of an episode of Boston Legal where Alan Shore used it to manipulate the jury. Everyone was like "don't say it, don't say it!" and he said it and then :cringe:
As expected, it was a simple minded appeal to his base using Limbaugh-logic. Nothing more, nothing less. Certainly possible that Trump did this to set the stage for declaring a "national emergency" in order to win. 90% convinced that is where he is heading, he would like nothing better than to show that no one is going to put one over on HIM. Don't kid yourself, we have a man with the emotional makeup of a spoiled child as the head of our Administration.

Trump won't declare an emergency, he pushed the task back to the Congress where they should do their jobs.

Far better than the response the vampire and skeleton gave afterwards . Everything out of their mouth was a lie . Every time they say the wall is ineffective , they are lying .
And every time Trump said Mexico was going to pay for it was a lie too. I wonder how many lies that adds up to be, just on that alone.

Nobody knows if the wall is ineffective because it hasn't been built. Most likely it will be though. The only one lying is your hero Trump.
I know, he was just preaching to the choir anyway, he may as well just went on Fox News and say the same things. Both sides are pretty much dug in on their views, so he changed no minds.
