I started a thread named Air Traffic Controller Delivers Warning. It got a lot of positive responses. A one day sick out the day before the Super Bowl especially in Atlanta would deliver a strong message that the American people won't be ****ed with.
When it doesn't happen after the Super Bowl, will you come back to this topic and admit you were absolutely wrong?
The same is true of state and local public employees, as well. They pay taxes with money supplied by the taxes others have paid.

The government takes $100 from me, gives it to Paul, and Paul gives $30 back to the government. Couldn't they just pay him less and not make him pay taxes? Isn't that exactly the same thing?
And the same thing goes for people who get social-security and have to pay taxes on it. Huh? Why? The government hands you money, and then takes it right back. What kind of trickery is that?
The whole "government workers pay taxes" meme is just a sleight-of-hand.
The only thing government does that I may benefit from, is keeping the utilities working, making sure new roads and the potholes in old ones are filled. The money they steal from me or else, pays for that. I get back what I put in.
On the Federal level, I benefit from, protecting our soil and securing my endowed rights. Nothing else.
