I would like to post this but not sure so placing it here for NOW. I have not taken a vaccine in probably 30 yrs and no plans to...I've made it to 80 without.

There are complications from the yellow fever vaccine in less than 10 of every million vaccines. Those over 60 are at higher risk for the very low-risk vaccine.
There are now about 200,000 estimated cases of yellow fever in the world each year. Of these, 30,000 die.
That would be like saying that just because every once in a while somebody dies from complications of heart surgery, we should never have heart surgery.
I suppose that, using the same logic, just because once in a while somebody gets in a car accident and dies, we should also not use cars.

Interesting article that brings up several questions about vaccine and the doctor (and others). I think the last comment in the article says it all. However there are "other" questions about vaccines in of themselves, they may not be for "everyone" and you never know until after you've taken the vaccine how it'll work for you or not. Impurities in some vaccines can cause problems.

It raises the obvious speculative question: Was Dr. Gore deliberately murdered with a vaccine injection to silence him?
Odds of dying from yellow fever-pretty low due to the vaccine. But before the vaccine was developed it was a massive killing machine. The history of Haiti has it killing the majority of folks from foreign lands who got it. And tens of thousands dead from it during the panama canal construction.
Its simple math. Only a fool wouldn't take this vaccine if they were going someplace that had yellow fever. And yes, that means just like everyone else you take the tiny risk of being that 1 in 1,000,000 people who have a issue. Because its STILL better then not taking it.
He noted that while the vaccine is "very safe," serious side effects have a greater risk of developing in the over-60s and in very young infants. Notably, he pointed to reports which suggest that the risk of developing "vaccine-associated viscerotropic disease" increase to around 12 cases per million vaccine doses used, up from three cases per million in the under-60 age group.
Not exactly a common occurance, eh? The list of bad things that are more likely to happen to a person is probably in the millions itself.

I've had the yellow fever vaccine twice already and will get another shot when my current 10 year period is up, no problemos what so ever!
All it takes is one.
I'll take my chances and keep my immune system healthy without those "shots in the dark" and making pharma richer.
