Trump Organization Hires Lawyer to Oversee Responses to Democrats’ Investigations
Company retains Stefan Passantino, who worked until last year in the White House Counsel’s Office

Democrats, who took over majority control of the House last week and now have subpoena power, have said they are planning several investigations involving President Trump and his company. On Thursday, the House Oversight Committee announced that Michael Cohen, Mr. Trump’s former lawyer and a onetime top executive at the Trump Organization, would testify before the panel on Feb. 7.

It's ludicrous. Not to mention insane. Partisan politics at its worst as the Democrats try any possible dirty trick imaginable as the majority in the House to get rid of Trump. These idiots don't realize that by making these ridiculous accusations they themselves are indirectly working for the Russians by trying to bring the US government down just to get rid of Trump. The Dems are traitors.

No, many of them have not gotten fired. There is no way the FBI would just arbitrarily open up an investigation like this.

Seems like this investigation has been going on for quite some time now. Not just started. We're only now hearing about it.

Democrats? I thought this post was about the FBI's opening an investigation into Trump. Seriously, the man needs to shut his pie hole. If he ends up getting into trouble it will be his own doing. The man is constantly trolling and tweeting to his own detriment, IMO.

It's worth the read into what the FBI suspected once Individual 1 fired Comey.

F.B.I. Opened Inquiry Into Whether Trump Was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia

In the days after President Trump fired James B. Comey as F.B.I. director, law enforcement officials became so concerned by the president’s behavior that they began investigating whether he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests, according to former law enforcement officials and others familiar with the investigation.

The inquiry carried explosive implications. Counterintelligence investigators had to consider whether the president’s own actions constituted a possible threat to national security. Agents also sought to determine whether Mr. Trump was knowingly working for Russia or had unwittingly fallen under Moscow’s influence.

The investigation of the F.B.I. opened into Mr. Trump also had a criminal aspect, which has long been publicly known: whether his firing of Mr. Comey constituted obstruction of justice.

Thank goodness, we have the FBI .

Trump has known this along and that explains why he has been trying to degrade the FBI and our other security forces. Lucky enough the majority of Americans are siding with LAW AND ORDER. and Thus Trump and his cronies will be held to account.

None of us know whether or not this particular investigation is ongoing. No, it's not a media creation or a farce. Sorry, the FBI can't just willy nilly open investigations because they're bored. Whether or not you want to admit it, something triggered them to investigate. Trump's continual tweets and statements that he himself makes (not the media) could continue to build their case. The man is so stupid he doesn't even know how much he is harming himself the more he does these things.

You just keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. You have no idea what proof anyone has.

IT occurs to me that when Trump is forced to step down, there is a strong chance Pence will have to as well... if they are not smart enough to dumb pence first and install someone clean, Nancy will become POTUS

That would be so damn funny i might die laughing....

Trump called DC a swamp and he is right.

Anyone that questions the shady issues of Trump should take a hard look at their own party because they are probably just as guilty of wrong doing as he is if not more so.
Wait, I don't think I read the words "uranium one" in your post.
