Single Payer, Socialized Medicine, Medicare for all, "Free" health care, etc. All the same-taxpayer funded health care. I see a whole lot of liberals promoting this-including those that should be smart enough to know better that have been elected to congress. So-how much more are YOU, personally, willing to pay in taxes to fund "free" health care?

And NO-you can't pass the buck by saying "tax the rich"-the rich already pay most of the taxes in this country. How much are YOU willing to contribute? How much will you cut from your budget? What will you do without? If you don't currently have a job-or enough extra-you'll have to get one or another job to pay your share.

The people that support single payer are willing to go to full 100% taxation...of other people's money.

How much are they, themselves willing to pay, they never answer that question.

Where did you get those numbers? They look to be completely made up.

Until we have some idea of the costs/benefits of the single payer system, there is no way of knowing what any of us will be willing to pay.

By the time I got my insurance premium back and consider all the co pays and deductables I'd be pocketing, 13 to 15 K I could put into single payer and basically break even.

Doubt many liberals will attempt to touch this thread, even with someone else's 10 foot pole.

They are willing to contribute the same amount of money to SPH as they are the number of "asylum seeking" illegal aliens they are willing to invite in to live at their homes.

That number would be right around ZERO.

Considering I pay $1000s a year for coverage I don't even use, I don't see the problem.

This. In fact, I speculate that most would likely pay less.

The better question is are you and you buddies in the GOP ready to stop sucking pharma companies you know what to take advantage of the American people. To advance potential coverage to all Americans. When ever you're ready to do that we can start talking.

Increase the top tax bracket to 45% and keep the existing brackets the same, meaning if you're a family earning less than $600,000 a year, you won't feel any difference.

Institute a federal VAT on all goods.

Have the government negotiate prices on behalf of the consumers so the price of medicine and procedures is less than what it's today in the USA.

Cut the defense budget by any amount necessary if the above is not sufficient to make ends meet.

I suspect this question will be ignored.
