It warms my heart to see politicians passing/proposing laws that will be ignored. Civil disobedience is a wonderfull thing and there is nothing like politicians turning peaceful people into criminals by arbitrary edict to erode faith in the state.

Well, travis t since you know nothing about guns, one simple reason. A hunting rifle needs to be sighted in. That can take more than 20 rounds alone. Then you would not need the rifle, because you would have no ammo for hunting.

Imagine if the Las Vegas shooter had been limited to 20/mo. Many people that he killed might be alive today.
I shoot once in two weeks about 1000 rounds every time. 20 rounds is ridiculous.
Do you really think that a law will stop a murderer?

OK fine, then how about up the limit to 25 rounds if you can show the cashier a current, valid hunting license. Let me guess...you're going to come up with some other excuse....

That seems completely insane to me. You're telling me you shoot 1000 bullets in 2 weeks?

You don't think that hunters should practice to be accurate? Or people carrying for self defense should practice. Or people should be able to shoot competition?

I went through a little over 200 at the range yesterday. But anyway many of us know already there is no explaining it to you you are set on gun control nothing will change that not even presenting facts to you because you will ignore them.

He would like to make 22 rifles illegal. He considers them "assault weapons".

Of course local law enforcement will be exempt. We dont want them missing any shots when the man-eating chihuahuas charge

Your attempt at sarcasm is inflamatory. A government's role is not to incite violence.

To practice so that you are a competent gunowner and don't hit an innocent child when aiming for a criminal assailant?
