i agree that food isn't the center of such a visit. but it's a simple detail ( and sign of a good host ) that could have easily had a better solution if the WH hadn't been so incompetent.
Fast food is not such a bad choice for a group of college athletes. This is very silly to make such a deal out of this.
Was there some reason they couldn't have hired a caterer?
this is my thought. with a little foresight from the WH into the possibility of the shut-down overlapping with the vist an outside caterer could have been hired and better provided a hot meal to the team ( even burgers ).
This needs a fact check? The more people make this kind of ridiculous fact checking the more stupid they look. Someone actually thought they needed to fact check how high burgers would stack because Trump made that remark? Good grief.

Trump has a weird paranoia that someone will try to get to him through his food. He thinks fast food is safe. IMO When a powerful and so called wealthy person serves their invited guest fast food, we don't need anymore proof that they are not normal.Yes a caterer, to do otherwise is indefensible.

FACT CHECK: At two inches each, a thousand burgers would not reach one mile high.
Funny, that people thought that is what he actually meant....sad....
