Trump is beholden to Putin whether or not they actually colluded.
(A) "If" they colluded than Trump is beholden to Putin.
(B) If they did "NOT" collude Trump is still beholden to Putin. All Putin has to do in this scenario is lie and say it is true and articles of impeachment will be passed in the house immediately with the majority of the country clamoring for removal.
Trump is in a catch 22, no matter what did or didn't happen Putin has an edge over him.

Trump has also given tax breaks to the American elite, lied about and criticized allies, leveled 25% tariffs against allies, threatened to exit North American free-trade zone, tore up the Paris Accord treaty and threatens to pull out of NATO. Keyword: threaten.
