What a twist: Sometimes, we have a news story where a non-White woman who will bring up how a White man benefits from White privilege. However, that White man might respond in a rational manner to that claim whereas the other person is not acting dumb. Here we have a Black woman who brought how up a Black man benefited White privilege. However, that Black man responds in a rational manner whereas the other person is acting dumb.
Also, saying that you benefit from White privilege by virtue of being a White man is arguably sexist. Yes, there are many White man that benefit from such but there are also many who don't. This pretty much applies to any socio-economic and socio-political group in this country. That is, it is situational when they do or do not benefit.

Situation A may be race-based privilege but Situation B might not be.
