Speak to the Senate, send a written summary to the House. A written summary was what was done, after Washington and Addams gave joint addresses, from Jefferson to Wilson.

"Information" does not imply speaking in the House, sorry.

How could Washington and Adams given joint addresses if they only spoke to the Senate?

I don't know what you're saying here, but the SOTU address is supposed to be a joint session before Congress.

The Senate Chamber would be an epic move...
Or trump could just tweet his state of the union address.

LOL!
Put everything Pelosi(and you) want in one hand, and crap in the other. Get back to me which hand fills up faster.
He can certainly make the speech from the Oval Office, but that will mean no grand entrance to applause, no playing to his base. Basically, no show. And Trump is all about the show.

Trump has a dilemma here. Hannity is encouraging him to make sure the shutdown is still going on for the SOTU, and Pelosi says if it is, no SOTU in front of Congress.

What will he choose???

You didn't catch the "joint" part? Nor did you catch the rest of it.

All the Constitution requires is that the President periodically inform Congress on the state of the union and proposals to be considered. The format is not specified.

Nothing precludes the President from providing a written summary to both Houses, speaking to both Houses, or speaking to one and sending a written summary to the other.

There is no requirement that it be a speech, but it is required to be given to Congress. Not the American people, and not the Senate, but the Congress as a whole.

Trump is free to address the American people when he wants, but he is not free to walk into the location of a co-equal branch of government and demand the right to speak there. And if he addressed solely the Senate, he would be in breach of his Constitutionally obligated duties as President.
you have no idea what you're talking about,

Trump could release his "state of the union address" in a tweet if he wanted to. just address it to Congress and the America people.

Got a link of Trump demanding to speak anywhere? Orange man bad. Draw nonsensical strawman, insert Trump, become hysterical, rinse, repeat.. not a good look, try to do better

and

McConnell can invite Trump to speak on the Senate floor anytime he wants to. Pelosi has nothing to do with any areas north of the Rotunda.
