The credits were no different than they were for any other show. Make-up for people who are on camera, food for staff, electricians, audio, etc.

Agreed, there is no moral equivalency here. Bouncing a check is not equal to trying to have sex with a 13 year-old.
No of course it is not equivalent but it wasn't just bouncing a check it seems more like fraud and deception. He got 90K from a kickstarter but couldn't pay the 13k bill? What happened to the 90K? Maybe not used for stated purposes.
