*shrug*

I have no dog in this fight. I'm an impartial observer as an anarchist.

But this notion that Trump is exceptionally evil or exceptionally doing wrong (in relation to past presidents no matter their team) is absurd... but that's the claim by the Left.

Hell, they had more legit dirty laundry on baby Bush and didn't pound the impeachment drum at nearly the level they do now for Trump.

Point is, there is no altruistic motive here by liberals: justice, law & order, the country, or whatever fluffy superlatives they trot out aren't fooling anyone. They've wanted him out since election night and at any cost. They bring legal action in hopes of removing him, they want investigations in hopes of removing him, they take a dump and hope that somehow removes him.

The wealthy right-wingers think they'd like to see our government brought down, so they'd be free to swindle the people and despoil Nature. Trump is their boy, to bring that about. Bad surprise coming for them, though, as without a working and democratic government, their assets and enterprises would be looted and torn apart. They need big government more than the poor people do.

Bingo.

On the day Trump was sworn in as POTUS, it became illegal.

Trump made up some nonsense about his two idiot sons running his business empire, but there has never been any evidence that actually occurred.

Just the fact its still running, is evidence his two sons never took it over. Not that the old man did great with any legitimate business.

It's not a Constitutional rule.

The Emoluments Clause prohibits officials from accepting "any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Who is the King or Prince of the General Services Administration that leased the building to him? Or are you saying that the US government is a foreign state?

And how is a lease a "present"? He's paying rent!

Do you people have no shame? Is there any limit to the lies you will tell to interfere with our elections?

What part of this statement issued 1/16/20019 "Today, the GSA OIG confirmed what we all knew: The Trump Administration is in violation of the Emoluments clauses of the United States Constitution," said Rep. Gerry Connolly confuses you?

It was OK when Trump was a private citizen, WHAT evidence do you have that Constitutionally, it would carry over after winning the election for POTUS? You can try and blame Obama from now to doomsday, we all know it's deflection, nothing else.

Connolly's a liar trying to nullify an election. The Emoluments Clause is quoted a few comments above, and it's plain as day that this lease in no way implicates that provision.

This transaction faeatures neither of the two things necessary for an Emoluments Clause violation. There is no "present" (or title etc.), and it's not from a king, prince, or foreign state.

Not according to the Obama administration. They said it was OK. It's the Trump GAO that is examining that decision.

If you didn't believe the DOJ is a branch of the Trump Mafia - think again. This is truly unbelievable.

Donald Trump has been given permission to violate the Constitution and the DOJ is ok with corruption. How dare they even talk about corruption when they have chosen to violate the Constitution in order to enrich the Trump family and curry favor with the despot in chief.

The DOJ is legalizing corruption.

"...The Department of Justice has adopted a narrow interpretation of a law meant to bar foreign interests from corrupting federal officials, giving Saudi Arabia, China and other countries leeway to curry favor with Donald Trump via deals with his hotels, condos, trademarks and golf courses, legal and national security experts say...."
