That's so far from the truth it's not funny.

The original request was 1.6b, which they agreed to. Then it jumped up to 5.7b, with no justification. They only point to the studies for the 1.6b amount.

‘Most of the GOP leadership has been compromised’ by Russian money: Trump biographer

“I believe most of the GOP leadership has been compromised by” Russian money, the author added. “The Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee run by Mitch McConnell got millions from [Soviet-born businessman] Leonard Blavatnik.”

“As for the endgame,” Unger concluded, “I think it is already [beginning] to unravel.”

Mitch McConnell Is the Real Evil One

Now we find out that McConnell is basically a traitor. In the wake of an unprecedented breach in American cybersecurity, what did this guy do? He threatened the President that he would publicly discredit the (solid, non-partisan) intelligence just to **** him, along with the American people. It worked, of course. Oh, and now McConnell's old lady has a Cabinet post.

I think you need to stop thinking that only (D) believe in the Russian bogymen. Before Trump became President not a day would go by without the old great one Mark Levin saying The last President or some member of congress was a Russian hack.

"insure domestic tranquility?" - I haven't seen this much discord since Vietnam. The Republicans are not doing their jobs.

Section. 7.

All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law.

It is the obligation of the Senate to vote on a bill passed by the House and negotiate with the House if passed. It shall be presented to the President for his signature or Veto.

The Constitution does not grant veto power to the Senate Majority leader.
Where do you see that there is an 'obligation of the Senate to vote on a bill passed by the House?' It's not in there. The Constitution does effectively grant a veto to both chambers and the President. The founders wanted to make it very tough to pass legislation. We may not like it, but we have the Amendment process, and that is the proper avenue to make changes if we wish. The Senate has a veto, and because

The Senate can vote to leave that veto power in the hands of majority leader McConnell, which is what they have done.

It's going to get bad for a lot of people, including grocery stores and those they employ. A pretty significant percentage of grocery purchases are made with food stamps, and grocery stores already operate on a pretty slender profit margin. Why it should get bad specifically for Democrats is something I would like to hear. I know you are eager for that to happen, but I'm afraid you are incorrect your assumption that the damage will be limited to Dems only.

McConnell has never been popular since he was the Senate GOP Leader in 2007, but he still wins reelection by 6 to 25 points in KY.

He should retire in 2020.
