From a justice point of view - forcing him out might be the right thing to do.
From a practical point of view for the Democrats, leaving him in there to further damage the Republicans chances in 2020 might be the better approach. It will ensure that we never go down this path again.
That's the dilemma right there.
At this point, the Democrats can't force him out. If Senate Republicans vote to protect a Russian oligarch, you can damn sure bet they'll vote to protect Trump.
However, public hearings, such as ones exposing who all is getting Russian laundered money funneled into their campaigns would certainly be a good use of time over the next two years.
Things are getting real for the commander in chief. Do you feel he should resign or be impeached? #trumpgate https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5...dbe16fb1f4/amp the last couple of weeks seem so clear now, it seems all of "shutdown" nonsense has been a last dicth effort at distraction.
Real. Hahahahahahahaha
There are some pretty deranged Democrats out there. Do you think Trump cares about that?
Here's a top tip for you: The huffington post is about as real as flowers on the Planet Claire.

What the H are you talking about and my who? Of course we all knew when the house went to ghe democrats there would be a push, but until there is a reason and at this stage, there is none, why would you think he should resign? There is no way, at this point an inpeachment would ever go though. Do you know what it takes to inpeach? Do you believe everything you read in H Post? God, I hope not!!!!!

That's the new Democratic Party for ya. If they lose elections, they don't admit defeat and try to come up with better candidates or a change your party in any way. Just try to impeach the person. Use your liberal media to go 90% negative, and write fake stories to trash the person.
What on earth has Trump done that warrants impeachment?
Has Trump used the FBI or NSA to spy on members of the press? Seizing their phone records and emails, and have FBI agents follow them around, like Obama did? Nope.
And, did Trump's DoJ spy on the campaign members for the Democratic Party presidential candidate? Nope.
You people wore blinders for eight years of Obama, and now you want to impeach Trump for imagined things he's never done, or simply because you disagree with him politically.
I used to think Trump shouldn't be impeached because he was basically a loudmouth liar who was just more of a loudmouth liar than all the other presidents, only ridiculously incompetent. But most of his staff covered that issue by influencing policy or Trump's attitudes a bit with what limited qualifications they had. There is a boatload of evidence that his associates are criminals, but not evidence that he is himself, only suspicion. Sure, he wasn't doing much good, but the voters could vote him out in a couple of years if they chose. The shutdown has since changed my mind. What is the main job of the president? To RUN THE GOVERNMENT. And no matter what the Trump sycophants claim, Trump is the reason we have been locked down for nearly a month. Whether he is a criminal or not, he needs thrown out.
This shutdown is not about a wall. The shutdown is about control. DT is a control freak. It's all about, "My way or the the highway." He would hold the country hostage over someone forgetting the mustard on his Big Macs last week. It's all the same to him. He wants to be a king, not a president. And now Trump has gotten his wish, so he has no interest in changing anything. His threat about keeping the government shut down for "months or even years" if he does not get the money for his wall (i.e. everything he wants) is ample proof of that.
Elect a con man and narcissist, this is where you end up.
You think Trump is going to be in office for a 2nd term? LOL
You poor, poor Trump supporters that refuse to acknowledge reality.
I will continue to pray for you every night.
off topic, this is not about a second term in office, this is about impeachment!!
