Pelosi should resign due to forcing the abortion known as the Affordable Care Act upon us. That alone should doom her.

Now this shut down because she is too prideful and too arrogant to honestly compromise?

She is exactly what is wrong in DC today.

I disagree. She is doing her job and not putting up with Individual 1's temper tantrum.

Folks, do you remember this?
That Time Trump Said the President Should Be Fired for a Government Shutdown (Video)
President Donald Trump has blamed the Democratic minority in Congress for three shutdowns of the federal government this year alone, but there was a time not so long ago that he would have held himself responsible for that turn of events.

You can disagree, but this is happening on her watch as much as it is on Trump's. The left made excuses for Obama when it happened on his watch and now you are making excuses for Pelosi. It's all of their fault. Right and left. Trump and Pelosi. They are empowered by their groupies who are always willing to look the other way when its one of their own.

Running through that minefield would make anyone tough. That's why Trump doesn't want to go toe to toe with her. Sometimes she steps in it and Trump can smell her in the oval office even when she's in the rose garden.

Who's stuck in 2nd grade?

No, it's Individual 1's issue. He knows it. He made a promise to his base he couldn't keep, he lied about a crisis, he said he would take responsibility and he even said in 2013 that a president should be held responsible for a shutdown. He agreed that he should be fired! Pelosi is not giving him what he wants because he lies and lies. She shouldn't-negotiates with a con man on his terms.

Pelosi has her own troubled history with lies and deception all the while saying she will be transparent.

Given the standard as applied to Trump she would have to answer for a quid pro quo on a real estate deal and appointment of ambassador to Hungary. She doesn't pass the smell test for those in ethics who got a whiff of it.

Oh please not so long ago the dems were crying for a wall and tougher border security. Now they changed their tune to appear more PC and because it's Trump saying it.
I am not a fan of the wall, but a wall beats what we have done for the last 30 years and amnesty of any kind is the wrong answer.
Comprehensive Immigration reform is democrat code for amnesty.

Immigration reform should reflect the needs of the nation not the needs of those who have violated our laws or future violators. We dont owe anyone a VISA simply because they want one or because it sucks where they come from. What our government does owe is an immigration system that puts the needs of the nation and the tax payers first. We dont need to import more burden, or in the case of sanctuary cities protect illegal alien criminals from ICE.

Trump couldn’t get the wall built when republicans controlled all branches. And now it’s Pelosi’s fault.

No surprise. Trump hasn't shown himself to be a logical thinker.

Why is the shutdown a failure?
