So while trump chasing threats that don’t exists our airports grow increasingly unsafe because those individuals aren’t going to work for free as his government shut down drags on over some foolish wall (vast majority of individuals detained deemed to be a threat are from airports, not border crossings)...

Trump is making us less safe right now because his silly shutdown (yes, it's all his, he said so) is compromising airport screening, air traffic control, unpaid Coast Guard and -- by not taking the $1.3 billion in border security money originally offered by the Democrats and agreed to by the Senate on a 100-0 vote -- the border is less safe today than it could be.
