Pelosi is a Congressperson who's #1 priority is to represent her district in Congress. That's why she's elected by her district, not her state and not nationally. She's never been Federally elected to anything.

Do you agree with the president's statement on San Francisco's streets?
Is Pelosi failing San Francisco?

Anything about what? Homelessness in SF, poop on the sidewalk? No, she probably won't because I doubt if Republicans want to make homelessness a federal problem so realistically what could she do? Eventually homelessness might become a big enough problem in red states that it will be addressed on a federal level but until then I just don't see it happening.

More Trump diversion and so called presidential leadership by Twitter insults and harassment. Whatever you think of Pelosi she's not just a congress person from a district in California but Speaker of the House. As such she has enormous power on both domestic and international matters that affect this country.

This sad pathetic President and his childish tantrums do nothing to advance the idea of Democrats and Republicans sitting down and engaging in good faith negotiations and compromise to end this disgraceful government shutdown. Trump's churlish behavior and bullying is a major impediment to governance.

He's not mature enough to rise to the occasion of bipartisanship, plus, he thinks he can win more brownie points with his base by being snarky toward the opposition.

He did offer an extension of DACA, to buy support for his wall, though. I guess, that using children as negotiating chips is the best he can do, in the realm of bipartisanship.

I thought since it's her district and she lives there she would have a little power to do something... anything. If she doesn't have any control who's running San Fran?

Probably the people of San Francisco.

This idea that she has any ability to really change things in San Francisco is just nonsense. Its quite apparent that Trump and many of his followers have zero idea what someone in the House does. Heres a clue-it has virtually nothing to do with San Franciscos cleanliness.

The best analogy is this-this is like someone complaining that their friends sons room is too messy, and Trump should focus on that since he owns the building they live in. Its foolish at best.
