The American Society of Civil Engineers has given American infrastructure an overall grade of D+. Our roads, bridges, dams, airports, drinking water, energy grid, waterways and levees all are in desperate shape.

This is where we should be concentrating the billions of dollars the president wants to waste on a wall.

Excellent idea. There are lots of other things we can spend that money on.

I couldn't agree more. Seems like there's a major accident on the main highway every other day around here. That highway should have been made 4 lanes 10 years ago. It kills more people than any migrant does.

I actually agree that I'd rather see money and labor go toward restoring our crumbling infrastructure before building a wall. I'm pro-wall, but we have significant issues within the infrastructure that need immediate attention. I'd really love to see another CCC-style program be enacted to put young unskilled American adults to work refurbishing our nation.

I thought Obama fixed all that with the $1 trillion "stimulus"?

Oh well...................... never mind, all of his supporters siphoned off that cash, so all is well.

The libs did not bat an eye over that $1 trillion waste of money, yet just can't sleep at night over Trump asking for $5 billion. Incidently, that is the same amount Obama wasted on a now bankrupt "green energy" solar company!

No it isn't.

Think of all of the billions lost to fraud, waste and inefficiency in government programs.

Infrastructure projects have one thing in common, cosmically underestimated cost and time to complete.
Time to hold these people accountable.

Think of all the cold cash about to be spent by all the democrats declaring a run for president who have not a snowball's chance of hell of even making it to the primaries.

445 billion spent by women on cosmetics annually. All that cash used to support toxic femininity could be used to pave our roads and rebuild bridges built by fly by night government connected contractors with substandard materials.

Would be a far wiser investment for the nation than a silly wall that will do little but appease the xenophobes.

If you have broken pipe in your home and it’s flooded the house ...
do you shut off the water main OR do use towels and a bucket?

i.e. How to create a logical fallacy as proof that we shouldn't do something.

What Trump wants for the wall, would fix ~1.0% of what you mention.
