Something else. Nathan Phillips claimed to have been spit on when he returned home during his "Vietnam-times" service. But didn't the media a few years ago tell us that the whole spitting on Vietnam servicemen was a myth? Has no one in the media called out Mr. Phillips for this?
2 groups behaved badly here. Both were bigoted, racist groups spreading hate and shouting racist insults.
The first was the disgusting Black Hebrew Israelites. Even the SPLC characterizes them as a hate group. I don't think anyone argues that the organization is garbage.
The second is Nathan Phillips and the group of racists he brought along with him. Phillips' group is perhaps worse. Unlike the BHI morons, Phillips was the one that bullied and (attempted to) intimidate a child. All while one of his idiotic followers made racist comments. Worse-it was Phillips that lied to the world, that claimed the children were attacking the BHI, that they approached him, that they mocked him, and that Sandmann "blocked" him in some way. Worse, it was Phillips that took this lying narrative to the media, in order to make the children, rather than himself, look like the racist a**hole. And worse, to vilify these children to the extent that they are receiving threats of violence, including death threats. Phillips is garbage. He deserves as much contempt as the world can heep upon him.
The children were the only people in the incident that behaved admirably. Watching Sandmann stand calmly in the face of hatred and intolerance, while being taunted by racist comments inspired thoughts of Dr. Martin Luther King. Much as the vile left-wing threats against these children resemble the ones against Dr. King.
The chaperone's are responsible for the welfare of the students.
there is no standardization for chaperones and no students were harmed. You continue to make things up.
