The Trump Wall is NOT the real agenda. It is being used as a distraction so that we don't discuss what Trump (and his Bannonites) are really doing which is to reduce the size of government and to dismantle social programs. If the wall were the real issue then Trump would have pushed for it in Year One when the Republicans had both the House and the Senate. It is not about the wall and it was never about the wall.
I have mentioned the 1971 Powel memorandum and the subsequent huge organized corporate business push for many more Washington lobbyist and the long-term plan to take the country right and undo FDRs new-deal..
mostly i get little response..what we have now is a mass-media totally dominated by the corporate right establishment who seems to trickle-out little emotional pieces just to push peoples buttons
this is NOT a democratic/republican issue as the democrats abandoned the average worker long ago in favor of globalism
and of course at least in modern time republicans have always been the party of business

So what's the problem with those rich people led by Trump? They are evil and want to get back at poor people for being poor by dismantling welfare programs? After all, some of their tax dollars go to support welfare programs. But then a lot of middle class people join in with the rich for hating poor people for mooching off of them every time they pay taxes. In the red states, the attitude of the middle class against government helping the poor helps explain why Republicans overwhelmingly took control from the Democrats.
It was sure about the wall, while Trump during the 2016 campaign repeatedly said Mexico would pay for building the wall. Too bad how so many Trump voters were gullible enough to fall hook, line and sinker for it.
By the way, if the wall required 60 votes in the Senate to build it, the Republicans never had it while they dominated both houses.
As a Libertarian, I can only hope that is the agenda. Smaller government, well managed social nets, balanced budgets, the FED getting out my bedroom and out of the way!!!

so then the exponential growth of corporate lobbyist with their reganomic trickle-on monetary policies along with globalism has had little effect on the Nation..these people do not even care about one specific political race or issue..
they have always been about long term effect..sort of "hearts and minds" and make no mistake they have been winning for forty years and IMO are responsible for the great divide within this country as well as the dems abandoning the common worker in favor of the higher educated upper class professional...
i have heard it said that there was really nowhere to turn for the what used to be hard-core democratic vote and many turned to republican merely to be given lip-service

The Great Society was the best thing that ever happened to the corporatists. Not only did it take the working man's ire away from them and onto the black and brown people. The working man also began to loathe the government who provided for the poor and anybody who was in support of social programs (visa vis "liberals").
