Do you think it drives Trump crazy that the Speaker is female?

Possibly.

Many Republicans are uncomfortable with powerful females (especially from the opposite party), which is why they are so often the targets of character assassination.

It is very easy to see from the many thread titles on this forum. The attacks upon prominent women are numerous, mocking and vicious.

Trump has his own issues on top of that, which may have nothing to do with politics but much to do with his personal life. Trump insults everyone, but his insults to women seem to cut deeper and are relentless, he snarls at them like a junkyard dog.

Men don't care about women that fancy themselves "powerful females."

Every "powerful female" is protected by laws, policies and social norms that prohibit males treating them as they would other males, i.e., as equals.

These same "powerful females" eagerly demand special protections not afforded males.

Your outrage at Trump's treatment of female opponents indicates that you believe women are too weak, vulnerable and in need of male protection to be treated as equals.

What bothers Trump is the human feces on her shoes.
Running through all those landmines to catch her flight and no change of shoes. Its a simple fix but Nancy has gotten use to it and expects others too also, like the people in her district have.
That drives Trump crazy.

Especially a woman who's much more seasoned at the "game" that he's trying to play.

Oh, he has to be gritting his teeth over this one. He thinks women should be barefoot and pregnant, and should walk 10 paces behind a man. For some gutsy, smart, experienced woman to say no to him is like pouring salt in a wound.

You can see Chuck Schumer grinning from ear to ear, watching Trump squirm as Nancy firmly denies him his stupid request for money for a stupid wall. He is like a little boy, asking for his weekly allowance and not getting it !

The mid terms were the best thing to happen ever.

When has Nancy done such things? We all know she's a powerful female, and the second most powerful person in Washington ATM.

Nah.

I think it drives Trump crazy that any Speaker, man or woman, would both figure out how to push his buttons...and be willing to push those buttons.

Good point. I agree with you.

Not that being respected by Trump should be anyone's goal though .
