Enough with the dramatics. You know how we know a fetus is not a “6 month old”? Because you don’t celebrate a year of life at 3 mos post partum.
But those like Janelle are opposed to that as well. Kind of dumb, isn't it? They don't want people to be careless and end up getting an abortion, but they don't want to do anything to educate them or help them. Kind of hypocritical.
Hypocrisy is a synonym for the Catholic Church. It's ruled by bunch of withered old men who still think of women as evil and unclean, so much so that they can never be allowed to serve the church in any capacity except to clean the pews after Mass.
The Church is stuck in the Dark Ages. What's really sad is that there are still women, like the OP, who willingly submit to this Bronze Age thinking and obey every order of these knuckle-dragging old men.
In my view, any woman who is still a member of the Catholic Church is either a cafeteria Catholic who picks and chooses what to follow and ignores the rest, or has absolutely no self-esteem.
