For the record, The Reproductive Health Act does three things:
  1. First, it strips abortion from the state's criminal code and places it entirely within the realm of public health law.
  2. Second, it expands who can perform the procedure from beyond just physicians to any licensed, certified or authorized health care practitioner for whom abortion is within their scope of practice.
  3. Finally, it legalizes abortion after 24 weeks in cases where it would protect a woman's health or where a fetus is not viable. State law previously only allowed abortions after 24 weeks if the woman's life was in jeopardy.

You ruined the thread, it would have been nice if the op posted these details.

Is it any wonder why our country is so messed up?
Agree completely. Right is right and wrong is wrong, and this is WRONG.

Between this and those third world countries you referenced before, where women are forced to have abortions, you make a pretty good argument for not giving the government authority over reproduction. Just imagine a world where only a woman and her doctor make those decisions!

I was born in and grew up in New York state.

High taxes and no jobs forced me to leave it over twenty years ago for better economic opportunities..... but I still think of it as my home.

I despise NY Democrats for what they've done to the place I once loved.

This just adds insult to injury.

more than 1 in 3 babies born at 22-24 weeks survive outside the womb with medical intervention. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa1605566

I don't comprehend how a woman could morally rationalize having a late term abortion.

How can you call yourself pro-life if you don't care about the life of the mother?
Or the child, after it's born.

I know, from your many, many previous threads and posts on this very subject, that you are not exactly pro choice, and that is your personal choice. However, not everyone sees it the way you do, (sad for you) and there are many reasons why this law is reasonable and just.

But, your feelings are deeply seated, and we aren't going to change them, so we will just agree to disagree.

Don't like pink or NY laws?

Boycott New York. Just add it to the list.

That sounds like Breitbart language.

Am I right

Breitbart says "for any reason", but the bill says "if there is an absence of fetal viability, or the abortion is necessary to protect the patient's life or health".

To answer your question, what you posted isn't even evil, so yes, lots of things can be more evil....
