Conservatives hate her because she scares the s*** out of them. I thoroughly enjoy reading their hateful threads trashing her and Pelosi. They're priceless! The more threads we get like that the more I feel the country may be starting to return to some form of normalcy. As long as the Trumplings remain angry and bitter like they've been lately we can all rest assured that we're headed in the right direction.
We've got less than two years now until Trump is relegated to the dustbins of history. It's the young ones like Cortez (there will be more like her in the coming years) that will take the lead in restoring our dignity. Fun times ahead!
I'm so glad that I didn't read through 21 pages of back and forth, as this post sums up basically what I think about the far rights' obsession with her.
Like with most hings for them, it's different, so it's bad. She's brown, so she's bad. She may say some off the wall stuff from time to time, and they latch onto that while embracing a man who can barely put together sentences.
She's not old, she's not a man, and she isn't white. That seems to be the trifecta to trigger folks on the right.
Hate her? I love the girl. First, she's comedic gold. Every time she opens her mouth she says something so stupid it's great for a laugh. I'm saving the clips and making a compilation vid to watch over popcorn and beer.
Even better, what she says is both so incredibly dumb and usually so offensive, she is driving anyone with an IQ over 70 away from the Democratic party. She is the best recruiting tool the Republicans have.
Finally, even the adults (all 3 of them) in her own party are sick of her and trying to shut her up. Just when you're convinced that there is no one dumber than Maxine Waters out there, here comes AOC going "hold my beer, I'm pulling a train"
I admire her spirit and how she went from being a waitress to a politician. She fights for what she believes in. Whether you/we agree with that or not is a different story. But, she really stands up for her convictions, which is an admirable trait.

So you don't think the fact that she is a borderline Communist has anything to do with it?
Are conservatives really concerned that the US could actually become a socialist country? Democratic-Socialism is completely different than Socialism, and everyone should look this up to see the difference.
I think that when she’s eligible to become president, she would probably get elected. She’s smart, young, energetic, and is against racism, sexism, and homophobia! She also has plans for our economy that will help everyone in our country.
I think the left hates her more than the right. She spent her first day on the hill outside Pelosi's office protesting and makes the cardinal sin of being honest about how far left the Democrats really are. The Pelosi/Schumer/Corporate sect want to keep the communist ideology on the down, as it will drive more moderate Democrats to the R's, but to her credit AOC doesn't have a filter or the ability to pretend she's a moderate. I'm often accused of being a conservative and I like AOC. She's a full blown kook & highly entertaining.
She sounds like a normal center European politician.. More like a regular Scandinavian politician. And thats not communist at ALL!
We are all for private ownership of industry and a strong safety net.
Only problem with that is, we're not Europe, and don't want to be Europe! Note: we already have a strong safety net - as we should -nobody is starving here. What we don't want are 70% tax rates or open borders!
