We have a Constitution for a reason. It’s to protect the rights of ‘The People’ – a clearly expressed concept referred to in the First, Second and Fourth Amendments. No, the Founding Fathers were not talking about a National Guard, and no they were not limiting ownership to muskets.
The problem isn't the message. It's the NPCs you're trying to feed it to. The only way to get leftists to support the 2nd amendment is to get Trump to oppose it.

Of course the Founding Fathers could have never foreseen guns that can fire a hundred rounds per minute in the hands of the average citizen but then again they could have never foreseen the internet where some bozo can hide behind his keyboard and spread hate around the world in minutes.

The funny (not) thing is that the anti-2A folks would dearly love to send men with guns to remove guns from the hands of their fellow Americans...And they see no problem with that.....

I don't have any major beef with the Second Amendment, but seriously cut it out with the fetishizing of it. The whole "Second Amendment is the one that protects all others" nonsense is just that. Nonsense. We had the First Amendment because our Founding Fathers wanted it. It had nothing to do with our right to form an armed militia.
