It looks like it's in the best interest of Trump to cave. 60% of Americans now blame him, 36% blame republicans, and only 31% blame democrats. It looks like Nancy knows what she's doing, and the American people support her. https://www.thedailybeast.com/polls-...uring-shutdown

Looks like they're depending on the same polls that told them that they were a shoe in for the Presidential election, and we saw how that played out. Either way, i've noticed that polls are an industry that seem to create public opinion rather than reflect it.

Any how, I don't think Trump did any favors for himself by publicly accepting blame for the inevitability of the shut down, I'm sure that factors into a lot of this.

Trump is going to build The Wall.
That's what he ran on and that's what he is going to do. I think he will declare a national emergency and get it done.
Polls don't count.

Interesting. I've noticed that many polls are remarkably transparent in the methods they use and are, for the most part, statistically sound.

Doesn't matter who is in the White House or which party is the majority. Every time there is a shutdown, the public blames the Republicans. With Clinton and Obama in the White House, they blamed it on the Republicans not sending up a budget Clinton or Obama would sign. With Trump in the White House, they blame it on Trump and the Republicans for not accepting what the Democrats want to send up.

Either way the media tells the public to blame the Republicans/Trump and the sheeple follow along with what the Democrats and media tell them.

The thing is Trump loves polls we know this for a fact, he's the most poll aware POTUS ever! That's why I bring it up because we know he's looking at this.

Not all the time, the last shutdown was blamed on Schumer. They tried to blame this one, but we all saw what happened. LMFAO on live TV lol
