A big win, maybe. She still didn't get the plane. I don't understand why they don't come back to the table and ask for the moon. If he's so weak, don't know what you may wind up winning there.

Eh, it's useless to try to get him to grow up. Too much wasted effort. He's a crook and a scumbag, through and through. Cripe, I first heard about him stiffing contractors in 1989 and it wasn't like I learned about him early on. Then there was the son in law of a friend who worked at one of his casinos who gave a blow by blow account of how he humiliated Ivana. . .

He is clearly more afraid of Pelosi but maybe Stormy will spank him.

Mostly symbolic, but something important did just happen: Trump learned what "co-equal branches of government" mean. He knows very little, doesn't listen and won't read - so an object lesson was needed. As a matter of substance, a small defeat, but a highly public one. Something tells me that Trump will think twice before locking horns with Pelosi again.

He was a fool to skip the wall for 2 years if he cared. Aunt Nancy grew up in politics. It's in her DNA. Then she raised 5 kids before getting into politics herself. She is the last person that he should ever try to mess with again.

I suspect that was probably her point, and she made it with great elegance and skill, IMO.

He could have mailed it in and spared us from the foolishness of enduring yet another string of lies and the dog and pony show in the gallery. I guess this means that he expects the shut down to end this year.

Trump's numbers are in the crapper as more and more people are suffering for his hostage taking and they are blaming him as they should be but he thought that he could convince them that they did not hear him say that he was proud to own the shutdown. Pelosi has likely been paying very close attention to public opinion and knew she had all the leverage she needed to call the shots. Kudos to her and kudos to the American people for knowing who is causing their pain. Now they have to demand he open the government. Trump should be forced out already.
