Okay I am a Democrat/Liberal but Ocasio-Cortez needs to shut it already (ratings, financial)

She's very young so it will probably get better in a bit. She has a huge audience and the media is playing it up. She really has move fast to prove herself because she only has two years and no more unless she can get some traction. The current district 14 is likely to change with redistricting -- it has been all over the place. One hundred years ago Fiorello La Guardia was the representative from the same district as a Republican. This is just her first month and she has nothing much to do.
The Democrats should tread lightly lest they run the risk of encouraging a "liberal Tea Party." The right wing Tea Party produced an unremarkable crop of politicians who didn't get anything done. Obama Care and Roe V wade never got over turned, pot is legal so is gay marriage and whole bunch of other things they railed against. I personally am not fooled by the fist shakers types from either side.
Not sure if this is the media's fault or perhaps she is just a bit much. But while I respect her viewpoints and agree with several things she stands for, I find her overexposure a bit much.
She is brand new but is acting like she has been a DC staple for decades. Shut up, get in there, do your job, get some experience and then we can talk. The media really needs to back off too.
She is now on several powerful House committees.
We are going to hear more from her before she learns much of anything.
Like it or not.
She is a real fine addition to the disfunction of congress. Congress should be able to change their approval ratings thanks to her. Unfortunately the change will likely be lower.

Oh no, she's comedic gold. I'm saving video clips of her daily dose of stupidity to watch over beer and popcorn. She's the best campaign tool the Republican party has right now.
If they could ever remake All in the Family, she would make a great Edith Bunker replacement.
I think she'd make a better Gloria (Archie's daughter). She's clueless enough to play the role without need to act. And besides, she would put an end to dumb blond jokes forever.
She's a show-pony. All flash no substance. If you listen to what she actually says it mostly amounts to every tired cliche & shibboleth of the stale left. She does not have an original thought in her head, and what is even more obvious, she's not intelligent, or well read on economics and has little or no grasp on how things work in the real world.
Someone, a friend or colleague, who cares about her should step forward & try and give her some cover because she is literally a laughingstock.

And in the real-life venue...she is probably the most viable contender to be the heir apparent to Sheila Jackson Lee, who herself is the House's reigning Queen of Stupid. In fact, she could be a vast improvement over Stupid Sheila, since AOC, despite being woefully ill-informed, naive, and crippled by a lack of new ideas, at least seems to have a relatively sunny disposition and a sense of humor.
So, AOC will still be an intellectual dumpster fire, obviously...but hopefully without Stupid Sheila's rancidly truculent variety of ignorance.
