You're wrong. It lowered costs for the lower-income people, but for those squarely in the middle class, premiums and deductibles have skyrocketed, making for expensive insurance plans that barely pay for anything. A single woman earning $50k, and getting by with a modest apartment in the suburbs of Boston or NY, for example, now has to pay $1000 a month for a high-deductible plan bronze plan.

Obamacare simply gave free insurance to some people, on the backs of others who can't even afford their own plans now.

As a side note that piece of paper on the wall may help you to become successful but it doesn't make you intelligent or by itself make you successful.
Yes, precisely. And there's a reason for that: lower-income earners want more "free stuff," and the top earners aren't hurt by the extra costs, so they're fine with democratic socialism. But the middle class? They can't afford to provide more free stuff for people just below them on the income ladder, and a workimg class guy working in a dirty car garage 10 hours a day to provide for his family rightly resents the low-income guy getting free health insurance, subsidized housing, reduced utilities, daycare, breakfasts and lunches for his kids, etc., etc.

That's why Trump won the middle class.

Behind Trump's victory: Divisions by race, gender and education

College graduates backed Clinton by a 9-point margin (52%-43%), while those without a college degree backed Trump 52%-44%. This is by far the widest gap in support among college graduates and non-college graduates in exit polls dating back to 1980. For example, in 2012, there was hardly any difference between the two groups: College graduates backed Obama over Romney by 50%-48%, and those without a college degree also supported Obama 51%-47%.

and before you go to the typical GOP response here that education level does not equal intelligence:

Personally I've been called everything from "uneducated" to "need to see a psychiatrist" to out and out "retarded" on various boards because I don't hold a liberal point of view.

Democrat liberal strategy of ID. A weapon in the hate and fear mongering quiver.

ID = Invalidate and Destroy. directions say to use when you run out of argument.

You do understand that all that means is Hillary got slightly less than 1 more college educated voter out of 10 than Trump did.

Hardly a reason to claim that “Hillary voters are so much more educated that Trump voters”. You guys make it sound like the margin was 90 points instead of 9.

The left are describing themselves. They use tactics to distract from the facts.

If educated means being brainwashed into believing that abortion doesn't kill a human, illegals are just good ol' boys coming here for a better life, those who become financially successful should be limited in how much they can acquire, only criminals should have access to guns (because they will have access regardless of the laws), white men are a threat to all things etc, then I'll take "uneducated" any day.

Education is what the Universities have now hijacked into a system which indoctrinates young people with socialist, anti American mindset into the youth.
Thankfully many youth are not buying into this hogwash.

Unfortunately there are many who do. If you watch videos of the gatherings of these indoctrinated students, you will find that they don't know why they believe what they do and if presented with facts that prove them wrong, they look perplexed and start to listen because they have no argument. (some will yell, beat on objects to make noise and cover their ears, but no debate because they don't know why they believe what they believe)

Simple.
Intelligence of the arguer has no bearing of the validity of their argument. Logic 101.

Why limit it to liberals?

No shortage of people have a tendency to disparage the intellegencenc of and/ or resort to name calling anyone who disagrees with them about politics and anything else.

I have no control over other people. One of the few things I control is my own reaction.

Let me try to explain at least a little.

If I say to you that taxes must go WAY up to make up the TRILLION dollar deficit, but you come back and say "no, we have to give more tax cuts and that trillion will come in".....that is an ignorant statement. It doesn't mean you aren't a doctor, a lawyer, a craftsperson or unable to function in society. It does mean you don't know 9th grade mathematics. Assuming most here are adults it should be important that the discussion be at - say - an 11th grade level or above. Ideally it would higher.

Now.....who made up the word "lib tards" and other such crude remarks and uses them constantly? Yep, the Right.
Read C-D for a while and you will see it time and time again.
Why do only 6% of Scientists ID as Republican? Well, since you are intelligent you can work that one out yourself.

In a day and age then the Right CELEBRATES their crudeness (Hey, look at me - I'm deplorable) it's strange that you don't seem to notice....and take some individual actions as pertaining to the whole.

Give me a reasoned argument as to how we can pay the bills...raise an extra trillion per year....and I'll take it. Tell me why we pay 2X the cost for health care and leave 10's of millions
not insured....and why our life spans are headed DOWN...and, yet, at the same time the Right champions "let 'em die" and scam health care??

I'm ready able and willing. I'm balanced many a budget and come out with great surpluses. But I never did so by telling wealthy people who came into my shop that they can pay less.
The only tax that could possibly achieve what you seek (a balanced budget) is a VAT tax. If they taxed “the rich” at a tax rate of 100%, it would not generate enough revenue to balance the budget.

Massive income tax increases, as promoted by AOC, are emotionally appealing, as it caters to those interested in class warfare, but comes up very short with regard to revenue.

However, you should read about “balancing the budget”. With our current federal reserve system, money is created when the federal reserve buys bonds (debt), then creates money in payment to the Feds. Another significant proportion of circulating “cash” is digital, generated through the banking/loan system
In the private sector.

Thus, if we “balance the budget” with this system, you markedly crash the economy by reducing the amount of available currency in the economy. This would result in a depression/recession. Look what happened when the budget was “balanced” in the Nixon and Clinton administration- a recession.

So we are on this “hamster wheel” of NEEDING to generate debt to maintain circulating currency. When the Fed was established, no wonder it was created (and currently owned) by private bankers who get a “cut” of every bond sold, and thus dollars generated.

See the problem?
