Using religious and racial hatred to gain high office? Trump didn`t invent that.
Trump is for religious freedom, he just signed a bill to assure it. More blacks and Hispanics working now than ever----no racial hatred there. Maybe you should watch something besides CNN.
Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day and 74 years ago, the concentration camps at Auschwitz were liberated. In 2017, I visited the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Israel, Yad Vashem. It is a powerfully impacting memorial to the millions who suffered and were killed in the Holocaust. Nearly two out of three Jews living in Europe at the time were killed by death squads or in concentration camps. Let’s set aside all of the current political distractions to remember and honor the 6 million Jews who died at the hands of the evil Nazi regime during World War II. #WeRemember

I would say that Hitler's rise to power looks nothing like today, largely because none of us have ever lived in a world ruled almost exclusively by aristocrats, all cousins, the grandchildren of Victoria.
The failure of that system, how it was at odds with changing times and could not respond to social threats, led to... you know... World War I.
I would say World War I looks a lot more like Hitler's rise to power than today does.
That article just says we aren't suffering this NOW. The woman is warning us and anyone who will listen that it can happen anywhere at any time.
Her agenda is to warn people. I thank her for that. If we don't learn from history we are prone to repeat it.
That is not all it says. It makes perfectly clear that she is using history to attack her political enemies. I know what her agenda is: to scare the hell out of people in an attempt to nudge them as far to the right as possible.
Do I believe it could happen again? Yes, although not necessarily "anywhere, at any time." I believe the circumstances would have to be rather extraordinary, an argument that even the video supports. Do I believe that equal rights or a push for universal health care are indications we're headed in that direction, as she seems to be suggesting? No. Do you? Do you really?
