As long as these people continue to settle in working-class areas, nothing will be done. We need to move them straight to Georgetown, Beacon Hill, Westwood, Knob Hill, etc and set them up. I bet a lot of the people living there have those "We are glad you're our neighbor" signs up anyway, so let's see if they mean it when their all white, wealthy enclaves become hosts for all night beer parties with music blaring and innards boiling in the yard all day.

This is it exactly. They are settling in working class areas, often doubling and tripling up in homes, and lowering the caliber of the public schools and consequently the property values. Let's see how the liberal elites in Georgetown and Beacon Hill feel when illegal immigrants are subsidized to move into their neighborhoods and infiltrate their private school world.

There is no national emergency. Now, it is fair to say it is a crisis in the sense that latest immigration trends are of families for which we have insufficient adequate temporary housing while they are being evaluated for asylum and not enough courts to deal with it in a timely fashion either. A wall would not address either of these issues.

You mean a multi year construction project won’t stop an immediate caravan of asylum seekers?
Remember when Trump told us that the last caravan was going to be an "invasion?" That our border security and borer walls were going to be "overrun?" That was all lies and propaganda from Trump.
In reality, the caravan "situation" lasted about 6 hours. Tear gas and police were able to get the caravan to stop.
ONE border security agent was mildly injured, he was hit by a thrown rock from some caravan member that turned out to be mentally ill.
I suspect the situation with this same caravan on the way will be the same. A nothingburger. But let the OP tell you guys, it's a national emergency LOL.
Migrant caravans are the new trogan horse. If a whole bridgade of a foreign nation came thru without uniforms on the left would still deny its a national emergency.
OK who went and counted the number of those in this caravan ? Where are the current pics ?
Are they on GPS so we can track their movements ?
BUT MOST OF ALL WILL THEY ARRIVE AT THE BORDER ON FEB 15 SO DRUMF CAN HAVE HIS "EMERGENCY"?
