I suspect some lip service to the 'uniting' the country.

And then the next morning some tweets to contradict the call for unity.

It would be really, really refreshing if Trump does indeed speak to unity on Tuesday.

After so much divisiveness from him over the past few years, it would be a breath of fresh air to see Donald Trump deliver a SOTU speech that does not insult anyone, call democrats names, or attack his political enemies.

For once, I hope Trump can give a somewhat bipartisan and centered speech, and not degrade the House floor with a "Trump rally" tirade.

I always give credit where its due, and I would love to be able to give Donald Trump credit on Wednesday morning, praising him for a strong, unifying SOTU speech. Stephen Miller will be part of the team writing the speech, which really hurts the chances of it being bipartisan and positive in tone....but I'll cross my fingers.

Msm will have a story to go in order to deflect from potus sotu. Division is their goal.

Reeking of irony once again. Unity is not even close to what he wants. He thrives on division.

I seriously doubt it. Expect it to be another campaign speech catering to his base.

But before he declares a Trumped-up "emergency" to bypass his inability pass his immigration proposal through Congress.

Yeah, "unity"... He can blow it out his ass. I know what he really is.
And this, folks, is why any speech about unity will fall on deaf ears.

It's also why he will win re-election in a landslide.

After two years of listening to him, I have my doubts that Unity is what he actually wants. However, I will be pleasantly surprised if he has truly turned a new leaf and will speak to Unity, refrain from name calling others either at the SOTU or in his tweets and we shall see how that goes.

I've noticed that if you mute Trump's rally speeches and play Dark Side Of The Moon, they are perfectly synchronized.
