Hope they all recover, although it sounds like one of them was in pretty bad shape.

I can't believe someone in the comments actually said, "Is now a good time to talk about gun control?" Friggin' idiot. At least they got the right response - no person who shoots at cops gives a damn about following any gun control laws.

When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

Nothing more needs to be said.

I hope they all make it. A big thank you to all our officers.

If we took guns away from drug dealers they would cry racism.

Gun control advocates aren't even trying to take guns away from drug dealers - only from law abiding citizens.

Meanwhile, idiot politicians from the left are still encouraging violence against police officers.

What a shame. Chaos, injuries, and suffering over a non-crime.

And this is where it gets sticky. I'm a firm supporter of across-the-board legalization and ending the idiotic drug war. On the other hand, current law makes drugs illegal. The police don't pass laws. They are merely doing a job that, quite frankly, there is no way in Hell I would volunteer for. I have a lot of respect for police officers and am friends with many of them in my area. They shouldn't be shot over other people's stupidity, whether that stupidity is at the level of the drug dealer who shot them or the politicians and corporations that made it necessary to serve the warrant.
