Tina Tchen: From 2011 until 2017, she served as Assistant to President Barack Obama; Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama (see Wiki)
Kim Foxx: Cook County State’s Attorney
Early in the Smollett hoax case, Kim Foxx recused herself from prosecuting the case. Why? Because Tina Tchen contacted Kim Foxx and asked her to speak with Chicago Police Superintendent and request that he drop the Smollett case and redirect to the FBI. (See: Kim Foxx's embarrassing OMG moment in the Jussie Smollett case
At the end of the Smollett hoax case, Kim Foxx's subordinate, Cook County State’s Attorney First Assistant Joseph Magats, dropped all charges against Smollett simply because he (and Kim Foxx) are not concerned with petty crimes. They confirmed they had enough evidence to convict, they just didn't want to.
That action screams of outside influence to drop the case. Was that influence from Tina Tchen? Or higher than that? Chicago IS Obama's city, remember.
I think that we should all consider ourselves lucky that, during these serious discussions, we have DC at the Ridge and KayAnn246 to offer comedy relief to a tense situation. If we can't enjoy a little humor at times like this, what are we left with?
One can always draw more attention by being contrary than by admitting to the very obvious facts in the case. Some people just need a little love and attention to make up for something lacking in their lives. That's OK, we just need to let them know that we do love and respect them, and hope that by doing so they might be able to turn their lives around and be able to concentrate on just the facts..
Love you guys, keep up the good fight....
A friend? Or a First Lady that has met thousands of people, including Jussie Smollett?
Yeah, as I said a few posts ago (no one ever replies to my logic-rich posts ) this is a tv actor; not even a Beyonce/Kardashian (ew) level famous celeb. Why would politicians stick necks out for him? He's NOT that big of a deal.
