The AGW deniers keep saying it is a conspiracy by scientists. Wall Street is very careful with its money and does not invest in conspiracies. But now BlackRock, which has seven trillion dollars to invest, is making climate change and environmental sustainability a core factor in choosing the companies they invest in.
Wall Street, and insurance companies, are the closest thing to an unbiased judge of AGW. They have no agenda other than making money and they are saying climate change is a problem that needs to be dealt with.
With $7 Trillion it is pretty difficult to pick and choose. You pretty much have to have some of everything. It is an admirable agenda, however. Too bad they weren't sensitive back a couple of decades ago when it might have been possible to alter the outcome of our consuming the earth for corporate profits.
Wall Street is paying attention to the direction the political winds are blowing and is positioning itself to take advantage of the legislation thatbis already here and likely to come.
Deniers don’t deny climate change....they just think it’s natural, even though they have no peer-reviewed research to back it up.
They believe it's happening by the hand of God to prepare the world for the End Times and the second coming of Christ. This video is everything anybody needs to know about the conservative position on climate change.
Will the liberals still hate Wall Street or will they now embrace the evil corporations?
Not sure who the "liberals" are that you mentioned, but all the Democrats I know have 401k and IRA that are heavily invested in companies. It is pure myth that Dems hate Wall Street, they just want it to act responsibly with our money and not create another 2008 financial crisis.
