You guys are practically tripping over yourselves to spin this headline against Trump.

If any of you had actually read the article you would know that the plant is still going to be built, and that the number of people employed will remain the same at 13,000, just that they will likely not be manufacturing jobs. Still a net positive for US workers, and a step in the right direction.

Final score:

Trump & US = 1
Manipulative liberals = 0

Foxconn has already changed their mind about what this site will be doing, it's only a matter of time before they announce further scaling-backs. Especially since they have a history of doing such things.
Where's the announcement from them?

Why do you want him to fail so badly? You are on the same plane that he's piloting.

You're not looking at the bigger picture... he will lose some battles and win others. No president is going to score a perfect record on everything.

The important thing is that we are moving in the right direction, and this is an example of that.

The statement said Foxconn is still committed to the creation of 13,000 jobs and its long-term investment in Wisconsin, but a spokeswoman declined to give more details on how its plans had changed.

Well, according to that article they are on pace to fail to hire their target number of employees by 2020 by more than 50% - 1000 employees, not 2500 or whatever.

So, as I said, a cautious soul wouldn't put a ton of stock in promises from this company. The proof is in the pudding, and so far it doesn't look good. Unfortunately for the good people of Wisconsin.
