2018? Wow! Talk about Johnny Come lately! My post was actually more tongue and cheek, or so I thought

So they did a switcharoo within just a few years time. Maybe they'll do another switcharoo next year.

Like I said, the innocent taxpayers of the county can fork over 2 million dollars. Who cares if it is Kentucky where the poor barely make ends meet. Take food from the innocent elderly folks and babies. Let em have it in the gut!! Who cares if taxes are raised and they are evicted.

Because for Goodness sakes, we wouldn't want these GAYS to have to drive to another county!

Davis should be personally responsible since she herself chose to ignore the law. Unfortunately elected officials are often immune from being personal liable.

Sure. Let's make the constituents shop around law clerks until they find one who'll agree to serve their kind. Separate, but equal, as it were. Civil rights, who needs them? Or, you know - Kim Davis could do her job according to law. Because rights aren't determined by the whim of some mid-level bureaucrat.

I'm so glad this bigot is going to suffer for her actions.
No, she doesn't not have to pay the money. The governor's lawyers said she 'should' pay. Who cares what a bunch of leftwing lawyers say? Read the damn story before creating a thread about it.

I admire this woman so much for standing up for her beliefs in the face of bigoted leftwing hate.

Godless evil laws shouldn't be followed. They should be stood up to. I applaud Mrs. Davis.

Should a gay man/woman in her position be able to refuse a license to heterosexual couple because of belief they have?

Your religious or personal beliefs do not dictate the laws of this country. Get used to it.

And he had very clear opinions on those who let the their attachment to money get in the way of their religion.
I agree Jesus "said good stuff". Especially when he called out to his #1 persecutor, Saul , asking
"Why are you persecuting me Saul?"
"Who are you?" says saul (later known as apostle paul)
"I am the Lord Jesus, whom you are persecuting"
Then paul asks "What do you want me to do?"
And the rest is history
Acts 9:3-6

Jesus words verifying
he appointed Apostle paul
to carry his message to his own children
Found in Galatians 1
teaching Jesus love and commands
about his ultimate sacrifice
with how to be saved due to Jesus' love
(Apostle means "messenger)
This paul, formerly known as Saul
carries Jesus message after Jesus sacrifice

"Paul, an apostle--
sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ
and God the Father, who raised him from the dead"
https://biblehub.com/galatians/1-1.htm

*Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
4*who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age,

Jesus messenger, apostle paul wrote 1/3 of the New Testament
Yes, again, jesus, "said good stuff"
More "good stuff" from the divine Rabbi

Romans 1: 25-28 *They exchanged the truth about God for a lie,
and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator

26*Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
27*In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women
and were inflamed with lust for one another.
Men committed shameful acts with other men,
and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28*Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

With relation to this Kim lady, if she does belong to Jesus,
she is expected to honor and obey Jesus words
via his messenger apostle paul
who wrote Romans and 1/3 of the New Testament
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage...30&version=NIV

As a Jesus follower aka Christian
like the Apostle paul
One ONLY has authority given by Lord Jesus
Through his messengers like paul, and his written word
to ordain in marriage
a man and a woman
per 1 Corinthians 7
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage...0Corinthians+7

Christians are not called to give up their jobs
But save for a rainy day like the ant parable
And it's commanded by Men
To provide for their families in EVERY WAY (small side-note)
The world will keep changing
after you've signed on to a job and the duties
But don't give up your livelihood
your right to eat and drink,
You continue on working the job
as a Christ Follower would do.
Just do not sin.

Christians do not change with the times
Jesus doesn't change with the times
https://biblehub.com/hebrews/13-8.htm
Jesus is the same today, yesterday and always
As Christians grow, they are molded to be more like Jesus
Unchanging except to be more like Jesus

Yes, Jesus said "good stuff"
Found in the New Testament
While he walked on Earth
And after he died on the cross
And using his #1 appointed Messenger Apostle paul
To usher his children into the new covenant
Otherwise those souls not ushered in to the new law of love
where all the commandments hinge upon
where commandments do not condemn
but where Jesus fulfilled the laws/commandments
Otherwise....
Those who remain in the old covenant
Where the law is King
Where the law condemns
Where there is no blood sacrifice for sins
No love
Where those who don't believe in Jesus diety
reside and will reside, forever,
condemned.
If they make that choice

.
