Never been a big fan of their coffee anyway. I don't even drink coffee but a couple times a week anyway now when I actually need it. It was getting a little ridiculous how much of it I was drinking.

No, why do people place credence in what others say, especially those who believe their opinions matter. The fat bit was pointing out the obvious.

So again, the question stands.

This "ban" will maybe be adhered to by a couple thousand folks.

There ya go Michael Moore, there ya go.

I think i will go this weekend just to show my support, lol.

Not that he will get my vote, but I dislike these "boycott because I do not want him to run" tactics. So what if he wants to run, let him, I see no issue with it.

If Michael Moore said not to I guess I am on my way to Starbucks! Schultz is learning just how nasty politics can be especially from the left.

Plain brewed coffee does not cost $5 at Starbucks, more like $2.10 depending where you are at.

The drinks that cost upwards $5 are the lattes and frappuccinos.

It takes about 40 seconds to put coffee on... a few minutes its done. If you find that troubling, youre a sad sad person. Micheal moore should worry more about his health, maybe take a jog, a diet.

As for Mr. Moore, I will note that a month before the election I heard him on CNN, stating that Donald JOHN Trump would win the election, citing the Rust Belt states. He was correct, of course.

As such, I do not automatically discount what he says. He was right in 2016, and he has (so I have read herein) predicted that Mr. Trump may win again in 2020. I disagree with him, but I also listen to what he has to say.

Now, boycotting Starbucks 'for the good of the nation"? I assume he means that voting for an independent candidate (here, Mr. Schultz) would be harmful to the Democratic chances.

I disagree. Much of what he is proposing tends to be aligned with Republican thought (no estate taxes, no high taxes on billionaires). Yet, one never knows.

Most people do not carry coffee makers with them when they are out.

You could also say the same for anything, as in it does not take much time to cook, yet plenty of people eat out.

Starbucks offers more than just plain brewed coffee, I would say that is the least popular of their drinks.

Some people are inspired by things other people say.
