I do agree he should step down. But most importantly, the left and even conservatives must accept his apology after accepting his resignation. But my issue with those who want him to resign. How will the governor resigning eliminate racism, white supremacy, white male privilege, male privilege and sexism? This is a question for those in the intersectionality sector must answer.
I would love to hear his team's brainstorming on if he should admit to to being in blackface or to being in the KKK outfit, or to deny he is either one.

It's not the govenors job to eliminate racism. There are only a handful of white supremists groups and they have no power. There is no such thing as white privilege. There is no such thing as male privilege. Sexism is not a problem.

Its not 1924, when the Democratic convention was nicknamed the Klanbake due to giant KKK rallies.
There are tiny fringe elements in 2019, but today we're talking a rally of dozens when they gather. Most there are counter-protestors.
