Then no doubt you quite passionately believe a non viable baby must be forced to suffer until it finally dies. Do you also strongly believe in torture?

I believe that after viability the rights of the woman and the fetus need to be balanced. She has 20-21 weeks to decide on elective abortion after viability that choice should be limited to medical reasons.

Man, the conservative propaganda is really relentless in its pursuit of ignorance.

I am fine with allowing terminally ill babies (or non viable fetuses) to die a peaceful death without extraordinary measures if that is what the parents believe is best.

Yes, but it's still her body. Sometimes we make mistakes. At 20-21 weeks, she has about 20-19 weeks left of the pregnancy, that's a tall price to pay for that mistake. She should be able to terminate the pregnancy at any time during. Perhaps if it's within a couple weeks of being due, the doctor's can try to preform a induced pregnancy if the woman elects, but if not, she should still have full domain over her body.

Abortion; eliminate certain requirements.*Eliminates the requirement that an abortion in the second trimester of pregnancy and prior to the third trimester be performed in a hospital. The bill eliminates all the procedures and processes, including the performance of an ultrasound, required to effect a woman's informed written consent to the performance of an abortion; however, the bill does not change the requirement that a woman's informed written consent be first obtained. The bill eliminates the requirement that two other physicians certify that a third trimester abortion is necessary to prevent the woman's death or impairment of her mental or physical health, as well as the need to find that any such impairment to the woman's health would be substantial and irremediable. The bill also removes language classifying facilities that perform five or more first-trimester abortions per month as hospitals for the purpose of complying with regulations establishing minimum standards for hospitals.

Is this the law???

IDK

I think receiving one verification from a Doctor should suffice for the Third Trimester. I do think that it should be done at a Hospital and the individual should be evaluated to ensure they are making the right choice. Furthermore, think they should also at least meet once with a an adoption agency about giving up the child once born. If the patient is unable to make a decision about an abortion or has a living will dictating who makes medical decisions. If unable to the Doctor should decide if medical necessary to abort the baby.

That’s called euthanasia. And it’s illegal.

Evangelicals are extremely trusting of anybody who waves a Bible and speaks in their language a.k.a. "Christianese." That's actually one of the things that's the most alarming about the Trump movement.

That is your position, but not mine. If you feel strongly about this you can lobby to get unlimited abortion legalized.

No it's not, it's called palliative care. It's what hospice does.

Sure there is ..... the 4th Trimester begins after the baby is born.
Normal people call killing a baby after birth - Murder. Leftists call it a medically necessary Abortion under these new laws they are pushing.
