You live in Phoenix, according to your profile.
A long ways from the problems at the border,
since much of the Arizona border is protected
BY A WALL.

Sometimes, though, it just slows them down enough to get them caught.

More than 100 gang members from El Salvador are among the massive wave of migrants that's poured across the border in recent months, with nearly 400 illegal immigrants nabbed trying to cross en masse last week and a group of more than 100 caught scaling a wall Monday, beleaguered border officials said.

United States Customs and Border Protection in Arizona tweeted surveillance video Wednesday that showed a group of around 110 migrants from Central America illegally scaling a section of the border wall in the Yuma sector on Monday.

The cartels are driving those tractor trailer rigs through the desert to avoid the ports.

But thanks for sharing.

The biggest mode is stolen 3/4 ton 4 x 4 trucks. Here in SD having a full size truck is a target for drug/illegal runners. BP finds them all the time wrecked out in the desert as they are a one time use vehicle. They steal the truck, black it out and remove the seats. Then they load it as full as possible before driving across the desert where it's reloaded in another vehicle on this side.

What garbage. You make up this laughable claim without even a shred of evidence.

Everything you say completely contradicts every credible source of information.

You think that was the only attempt to smuggle that drug? I think it's safe to say way more than one truck load came over one way or another undetected.

This is something wall advocates just can not seem to understand. A wall slows intruders. It does not stop them. There are literally dozens of ways to breach a wall, including a simple ladder.

What you need to actually stop anyone is first, detect them and second, interdiction or boots on the ground.

If someone sneaks over a wall with a ladder and no one knows, you have accomplished nothing.

This proposal is almost fool proof detection and interdiction is as it always has been, hopefully quickly and efficiently.

I gave you Fox News for goodness sake, and several other unbiased sources, all of which say the bulk of drugs come across ports-of-entry. I intentionally avoiding CNN, CBS, MSNBC and all the other MSMs just so you'd have nothing to complain about. Or so I thought.

The problem with people like you is that you trivially discard evidence-based proof that doesn't meet your agenda. You don't even bother to read it. You sir, are a shining example of a Trump supporter.

Does it create a force field ?

Watching people enter hasn't been a problem. We have been watching them enter for decades.

Preventing entry is the problem.

The trouble with you and other Democrats making claims that tech alone will do the trick, this ignores several factors.
For example, once they cross the border and what is essentially an alarm and camera system goes off, they must still be caught.
Even if they are caught, they still get to stay in this country via catch and release. Most never show up for their hearings, much less do we even know where to send the notices to appear.

Aside from that, a pro-illegal alien potus can order the BP or ICE to stand down and not use or react to the technology. A pro-illegal Congress can just refuse to fund money to maintain or add further tech.

Needless to say a physical barrier prevents most from touching American soil, thus they are not subject to getting in and disappearing. It also makes it harder for drugs to flow across the boarder. Most importantly, a border wall is not subject to the liberal whims of a potus to order LE to stand down and not enforce our laws.

Breaking: Coast Guard offloads 34,780 pounds of cocaine at Port Everglades

How many mules sneaking across the border would that take?
