One reason he doesn't want to dig too deeply into the reality of the situation is that he would not be able to justify a sea-sea wall based on the facts. Even the premise of the proposal, that we have a "crisis on the border" is not supported by the statistics. Illegal southern border crossings have decreased continuously and dramatically since 9/11, this information is not hard to find.

The real point here is that people like you don't know what you are talking about BUT, CLAIM to be experts.
