The question is, why in the last few years do they feel embolden to call for it. The next question is are they kidding themselves or will future Americans embrace it. Th next question after that is how far will they take it to the point it conflicts with the bill of rights and constitution and what position will they take from there.
Because too many people aren't paying attention. They do this one tiny step at a time. They've been doing it one tiny step at a time. And you have idiot cucks who claim to be Conservative going along with the narrative put out - "Oh...well....okay, I guess. That kind of makes sense." Idiots.

One thing I will say about the Dem party - they definitely know how to organize. The difference is the Conservatives say, "We'll make our voices heard at the polling booth." Fricken morons. They also need to get out there, organized, and go door to door, they also need to start speaking up, they also need to tell people why this tiny step and that tiny step is a bad idea - with the eye on the bigger picture. But they don't, because, "just ignore what those people are saying - it's not worth it to get into a debate about it, just go to the polls".

Yeah, by the time these idiots get to the polls, half of them have bought in to the lying narrative. They sit in echo chambers and never think critically - these are the types who think the small things "don't matter, it's the big stuff you need to worry about" never once realizing it's the small things that turn into those big things, and now, you can go anywhere on the internet, read the comments on almost any article, or on any social media, and see the same thing being said over and over and over gain: "How did this happen? What happened to our country?"

You sat on your ass, that's what happened. Meanwhile, the Dems have been out there, pounding the pavement, talking to the gullible, the naive, using scare tactics, and appealing to emotions.

We've already got way too many socialist programs being run by government, and yet you'll hear those very same Conservatives wondering, "What happened to our country", agreeing with those socialist programs because "Everyone should have an education" and "muh roads" "muh fire engines", blah, blah, blah.

They are the proverbial frog sitting in the pot of water that is being slowly heated going, "Ahhhh, this is nice. It's comfortable. What a nice thing to have - makes me feel all good inside." Then when the heat gets too hot, they start crying about it. "What happened?!"

Idiots - that's what happened.

Its the move to the right that has created this mess!
Sort of accurate. Conservatives didn't do enough to ensure that young people got their message. Instead they let the universities get taken over by leftist wing nuts. They also snickered as illegal aliens came in and didn't do anything about that either. Liberty and all of that.

I still have hope the lunacy of socialism will not prevail but conservatives have some work to do. Probably starting with actually getting out and voting instead of cracking open a beer on election night. Fortunately Trump is a master manipulator and is really getting them fired up. And of course the Democrats are giving plenty of fodder.

It'll take time. The baby-boomers will have to die off from old age before we see real change. But change is coming.

Regarding the bolded text... Oh, good grief, no! US Millennials are the LEAST capable generation in this country since the OECD began tracking such info. More info in this...

OP do you know what 'socialism' is? Post #1 would seem to indicate that you don't. Socialism is the collective (in practice, gov't) ownership of the means of production. Venezuela under Chavez was 'Democratic socialism,' or at least in a process of moving towards it. Sweden, Denmark, and Norway are not socialist---they are 'social democracies.' The 40 hour work week is not socialism.

I am a hard working producer. I can guarantee that if America became socialist, I would be outta here. I know what happens when a nation goes socialist. No thanks, not for me.

The thing is, I won't be the only producer leaving. What will be left are the takers, wondering why their standard of living still sucks, and why they are now starving.

You're choice America. My great grandparents came to this country seeking a better way of life. I accept the possibility that I may have to do the same in my life. Thankfully, I invested in developing a useful skill set that is in demand in every developed nation, and commands a respectable, living wage. If others did the same, they wouldn't have to whine to the government to deliver socialism. They could simply trade their labor for a living like a normal person who is not a wimp.

It was under Chavez, who died in 2013. I think it's fair to say that it has now morphed into a socialist dictatorship.
