It seems a bit odd that Pencil Neck Schiffty wants Acting AG Whitaker to testify in his committee when he's only been in the position for a month. Why not call Rod Rosenstein, who started the special counsel (among other things, ahem) and who will be leaving soon? This might be a good excuse to get rid of Schiffty since he doesn't seem to know what he's doing, judging by results.

Uh.... maybe because the questions he plans to ask Whitaker are different than the questions Rosenberg would be able to answer? Questions specifically regarding Whitaker's oversight and the decisions he's made since he got here? Such as, for example, why the ignorant ***** decided to announce to the whole world that Mueller is almost finished, which serves no purpose but to strengthen the hand of the witnesses who are not eager to cooperate?
